Athens of the South
This past weekend I attended the #IVXVI reunion, which was the follow up of the best summer of my life (which I have a post about here). We all met up in the "Athens of the South", aka Nashville, TN. As a southern girl, I loved seeing my Northerners and Californians react to being amerced into a few days of southern style. It was a much needed weekend getaway in the middle of midterms to see some of my absolute favorite people and brought an amazing start to Great Lent. After a few weeks of beautiful weather and sunny skies in Columbia, I was not ready for the wind chills Nashville had. However, that meant I was able to pull out some outfits I have not been able to wear yet!
I adore my wrap necklace from Lee Nichols Designs and my favorite burgundy lace up flats from DSW! |
Absolutely obsessed with this off-the-shoulder top from Vestique (its almost out of stock). The little details are so feminine and delicate, plus the bell sleeves are so fun and flirty. On Saturday we had a little glimpse of remembrance of what a day at camp was like, and then we went full blow tourist. The last time we were all together was in Athens, Greece, so how fitting for us to meet back at the Parthenon in Nashville. I wore my new favorite sweater from Anthropologie and my go-to boots (from Target)! My favorite jewelry combo + sunglasses: I talked about them in my January Favorites! hope y'all enjoy spring break! xoxo jojo
