CHARLESTON MINUTE

Yesterday, I went to Charleston for probably about a total of two hours. My friend Tori and I had to go to the Italian Honorary Consulate to apply for our Student Visas ~to study abroad in Italy next semester~!! We figured we might as well make a mini trip out of it, so we got lunch at 167 Raw... y'all it was SO good. Fresh seafood in a tiny little place and the staff was so attentive and considerate, I HIGHLY recommend if you ever pop over to Charleston!

I have been wanting to get this outfit/these pieces onto the blog for a while, and am so glad to finally share! Surprise surprise, the outfit is all from Dress Up. I didn't even realize it, because I bought each item at different times lol. However, if you do not know me that well, Dress Up is one of my absolute favorite stores and has been since about freshman year of high school! They are the one place where I can always find something and where basically my entire closet is from.

I had been searching for a black lace trim cami for a while and this one is so flattering and seriously goes with everything. I am going to start incorporating it more into my wardrobe this season; I love bold bottoms and accessories and basic tops this time of year. Obviously, my shorts are leopard (similar & 50% off) and are my absolute favorite neutral. They are so stinkin' cute and flattering!

The star of this outfit is definitely this cozy, comfy knit cardigan (similar)! It is so soft, AND it has pockets! I think it is what really ties it together as the perfect easy fall combo. I was hesitant about having a white cardigan because you never think of throwing on a white jacket, but it matches over half my closet and is so easy to throw on for a dressy or casual look.

I topped the whole look together with simple black pieces. My favorite pebble-leather bucket bag from Kate Spade (cheaper option), my go-to leather booties from Target, and these glasses from Amazon (the ones featured in my recent post)! As for jewelry, I went with my trusty Sheila Gold Hoops and crescent moon necklace from Lee Nichols Designs

I took this look from day to night by throwing on some leggings for dinner with my boyfriend and it was very sleek as a monochromatic look with a pop of contrast.

I hope you enjoyed this outfit and thanks for stopping by! If you want to see anything specific on my blog, DM me on Instagram @thelifeofjojo_.
