PERFECT DAY IN CHARLESTON
I have only been to Charleston a few times while living in South Carolina, and every time I go I fall in love with the city and its charm! This was Jake and I's second time going just us - I love that there are so many different things to do, shops, and food options so both of us can be happy, lol. We woke up early and went, so we could have a full day there. We could not have gotten luckier with the weather - sunny, warm, and a nice breeze!
To start off our morning I stopped at DryBar because I needed a little pampering, ya know. I mean, Jake isn't here willingly giving me a scalp massage so I have to outsource. I got the Mai Tai in case anyone is wondering. I wore one of my favorite outfits - hot pink pants, a white tube top, and my sandals from Greece (my staple summer shoe). I am SO into pink and SO happy it is in and wearable. Pink is fun and girly and flattering on everyone, basically what I am saying is you need to add some freaking pink to your life! I linked a few fun pairs of pants and similar scalloped shoes.
I adore wandering throughout downtown Charleston and Jake loves the shopping there, he seriously buys more than me lol. Most of our day was browsing in and out of the stores, grabbed food, and of course, I had to stop at Jeni's before we headed towards the beach. It was Jake's first time, per usual, he was not impressed as he is with most southern staples, whatever. Then we got dinner in Isle of Palms right on the water, the weather was still perfect! We walked on the beach and regretted not bringing things to actually swim because the water felt so good. It was so nice to just walk and be carefree for a bit.
