July Favorites
July came and went so quickly, but was such a fulfilling, packed month! I went to Greece for a few days (more on that later), had friends visit the city, went to Chicago for Fourth of July, tried a bunch of new places in the city, and read a TON (which is new for me LOL).
Jewelry from Athens
The best part about heading to Athens? The SHOPPING! Athens has a lot of hidden gems, especially for jewelry, accessories, and shoes. I had my IV counselor turned friend, Marissa, take me around to her favorite places because she is the Athens shopping expert. I especially loved this little store we found called Thiki. Over on my TikTok there is a full haul of everything I picked up!
A Court of Thorns and Roses, Series
S/O to my cousin Stephanie for suggesting this series to me because I am HOOKED. If you like mystery, magic, love, friendship, action, I mean this book has EVERYTHING. I flew through the first book in less than a week, which says a LOT because it can take me months to read a book. Highly recommend!
Reformation Tops
Aka my new favorite store. I placed my first Reformation order a few weeks ago and have been itching to place more. The quality is 10/10 for classic, adorable pieces. I am really loving these pink linen and black silk tube tops right now!
Dinner in the West Village
The West Village truly has some of the best gems in the city. When my friend Tori was visiting, we got french food at Bobo, and drinks at Dante - which is definitely not overhyped IMO. The martinis are delicious! This past weekend my boyfriend and I went to LβArtusi, another spot in my humble opinion, was not overhyped at all. The spicy crab pasta was to die for. Definitely has taken the spot as my favorite Italian place in Manhattan!
Staud Dresses
A brand I have loved looking at, but never bit the bullet. A few Staud dresses were on sale at Saks, and I went for it! I got this stunning navy and white maxi that is not only extremely flattering, but surprisingly so comfortable. I will be wearing it this weekend in Rhode Island and again at a wedding in September. As well as finding a dress for my birthday at the end of this month :)
Art Classes
NYC has so many fun opportunities, especially for creatives. I finally tried out an art class hosted at Happy Medium, NYCβs first art cafe! The collage class caught my eye, and it was a much needed creative outlet IRL, as opposed to digitally.
Tinted Sunscreens
The SuperGoop glowscreen and Ilia skin tint held my heart for the longest time, but I have been converted over to the Tower28 tinted sunscreen foundation! It is definitely similar to the Ilia one, but I prefer the finish and color on the Tower28 one. It is the perfect base under my other makeup products or perfect on its own to provide a little coverage and color.
Tory Burch Sandals
I have had these for years now, and usually only reserved them for church or nicer summer events. I forgot how comfortable they are and how much they elevate any outfit - no matter where you are headed! These have been in my daily rotation in terms of summer shoes.
