In Heavy Rotation
I love podcasts — probably more than music, most of the time at least (besides Taylor Swift and Vance Joy). There are 5 podcasts I keep in heavy rotation at all times. They all serve completely different purposes, which I think is important to not overwhelm yourself with the same content from different voices!
The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast
I have learned more from this podcast than anywhere else. They have the most INTERESTING people on, and I especially love it because I am learning about so many topics I would not have thought to seek information on, ya know? Also an added bonus that I am obsessed with both the hosts.
The Morning Toast
This is my daily podcast - if you are not familiar, TMT is hosted by two sisters who highlight the “Top 5” stories of the day, but like pop culture stories not real news. I personally am horrible with pop culture and don’t actively keep up with it on my own, so it is nice to plug into this podcast and listen to the hilarious hosts dish all the stories and TV recaps.
Bon Appétit Food People
One of my favorite things in life is to consume content about food. Food Network is my favorite channel of TV for context. SO, after I scoured Spotify for a quality and enjoyable food podcast, and behold: BA’s Food People. They interview famous chefs, BA editors, and focus on various food related topics — why you need an airfryer, best summer recipes, what goes into the perfect cookie, etc.
I Love You So Much with Kenzie Elizabeth
Love Kenzie so much — her podcast definitely has a “surviving your 20s” theme, which is obviously relevant and helpful to me. Some other topics featured include anxiety, career advice, intuitive eating, and confidence. This is a great well-rounded podcast where you still learn a lot, but it can be light and funny at the same time.
It’s Me, Tinx
Is this a brand new podcast? Yes. Am I obsessed with everything TINX does? Yes. I think it is fair to have this on my list — it is such a unique podcast. I love how TINX is focusing on just herself and her audience, no guests, no gimmicks.
Gals On The Go
GOTG is a lifestyle podcast by two YouTubers, Brooke and Danielle. I have watched them on YT for years, and go in phases with their podcast. I do not religiously listen, but it is great for a mindless turn on where you simply want to consume content without the heavy thinking. As always it is an added bonus they both live in NYC!
